Vehicle Renting, design your experience!

One of the services we offer is renting our vehicle and all the camping equipment, always with a professional driver. This service is specially planned for anyone wanting to organize their own Overland tour around Mexico, Guatemala or Belize.

Please read carefully the following information about this service:

Main Requirements

• We require a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 10.
• You’ll need to sign a contract where is stipulated that Lupita only provides transportation service and, therefore, is not responsible for any problems not related to the vehicle that may occur during the tour. We strongly encourage you to require Travel Insurance for every passenger and we are not responsible if any passenger doesn’t have insurance.
• You cannot advertise the tour as one of ours, but you can use our brand to show that we are the ones supplying the transportation service.

Driver necessities

• Please note we do not rent the vehicle without a driver.
• One single driver cannot drive for more than 8 hours per day and need some pauses while driving. If you want longer driving times, you’ll need to rent 2 drivers. Moreover, Please note we never drive during the night for safety reasons. However, early morning starts are OK.
• Our driver cannot perform tour leading tasks during this type of tours, as we are not involved in the itinerary and activities you choose. Nevertheless, we will be happy to give you a hand in every aspect we can.
• Our drivers normally stay in the same hotel as you, unless you prefer not to. You are free to choose if you want to include his/her accommodation.

Optional costs

• We supply all our camping equipment and basic consumables such as water, hand sanitiser, dishwashing soap and sponges, etc… but you’ll need to buy any other goods, that you can store in our boxes.
• We begin the renting service with a full 75 litres diesel tank. If you are performing a variable itinerary, you must pay for all extra diesel and tolls. On the other hand, if you inform us of your itinerary, we can include these costs in your payment.
• We make an official Mexican bill for every service we offer, including vehicle renting. Feel free to request it once you have fully paid for the service.
• Cancellation and refund policies that apply to this service are the same as for the standard tours.
