Colonial Towns

Home > Get inspired! > Cultural Highlights > Colonial Towns

The Colonial Era in Mexico and Guatemala ranged between 1510 and 1810. During this time, the conquistadors enslaved the locals and destroyed sacred temples. Also, they used the leftovers of these buildings to develop a wealth of colonial cities. Today, there is a colonial touch in almost every town, many of them being UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Despite this sad history, visiting these countries an amazing experience.
